May 3, 2020 · Finally saw Sinister 2 (spoilers) Discussion. To start, I loved Sinister. Easily one of the best mainstream horror flicks to come out in the last decade IMO. I'm also not a huge fan of sequels. So when I first heard about Sinister 2 I was more than reluctant to see it. And then it got completely shredded by critics and audiences alike.
Aug 12, 2019 · Sinister 1 is like a 9/10 and one of my favorite modern horrors (it could've been a 10/10 if not for a weaker third act). Sinister 2 is like a 3/10 that I try to forget ever happened. The first film, I thought this was universally agreed by everyone. The first movie is much more effective.
Feb 7, 2019 · I loved the first movie, and really liked this one. It does things differently, which is a good thing as it expands the lore. More focus is given to the characters and their behaviour towards each other, so Sinister 2 has a more dramatic (and in a sense, "real") vibe than the first one. It wasn't as good, but still a good surprise to me.

Compared to the last few, this one is somewhat refreshing. Nothing terribly complicated. Know your counters and play moderately well and should easily do it with 5R5/6R2. Pay attention to the nodes. They can trip you up, but so far in Zone 1, 2 and 3, nothing overly complex.

Aug 18, 2021 · I like Sinister 2, but its not AS good as the 1st one. It takes a bit more of a mainstream approach to Baghuul and not much is left to the imagination. But its by no means a bad movie, in my opinion. It’s okay.. watchable, but the first one is way better.
Aug 19, 2015 · As for Sinister 2, I think you're better off skipping that one . You don't actually have to watch either...my personal recommendation. First Sinister was one of the best horror films ever IMO. I loved the first Sinister. It was the first horror film to truly scare me. I will see this, even though the reviews are bad.
