Marco Antônio Guimarães (born Belo Horizonte, October 10, 1948), is a Brazilian composer, arranger and musician. He is the founder, musical director and main composer of the group of instrumental music Uakti. Besides composition and arrangement, Guimarães builds all the original musical instruments used by the group.
