San Antonio College） 進修，主修商業、副修音樂史。 鄭中基雖然长相一般，但嗓音非常好。 他自小喜歡唱歌，加上其獨特的身分，因而常常有機會來到寶麗金辦公室和錄音室“偷師”，也因此跟 寶麗金 多個著名 音樂製作人 ，例如 周啟生 、 向雪懷 、葉廣權、黃祖輝相熟，當中葉廣權最先推薦他和唱 李克勤 的《 紅日 》，其後再擔任 譚詠麟 的《 你是我的女人 》的和聲。
