Calumet Park (formerly DeYoung) is a village in Cook County, Illinois. The population was 7,025 at the 2020 census. [3] On May 13, 2010, Mayor Joseph DuPar and the Village Board approved renaming 127th Street as Obama Drive, in honor of the 44th President of the United States.

Providing access to Lake Michigan from the East Side neighborhood on the city's Southeast Side, the park contains approximately 0.9 miles (1.5 km) of lake frontage from 95th Street to 102nd Street, which extends to the city limits, the Illinois' border with Indiana .
