Pertevniyal High School of Istanbul was founded in 1872 by Pertevniyal Sultan, the mother of Sultan Abdulaziz. It cost 3520 gold coins to build the school. The school was forced to relocate after the fire of 1911, which destroyed much of downtown Istanbul. A new building was not constructed until 1968.

Although I’m not a member of the PertevMUN club, I can say that without a doubt, this conference will show you the quality of the prestigious Pertevniyal High School with all of its facets and lastly, as our slogan says, “Spring is coming” so make sure that you reserve your seats for the best show that is yet to come.

Pertevniyal Anatolian High School. She founded the Pertevniyal High School as well as Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque in 1872. In the days when the Hejaz was part of the Empire, the Porte tried to improve the health situation there. Pertevniyal built hospitals in the Harem-i Sherif, and young Turkish doctors went out from Istanbul to man them.
