Bill Atkinson (born March 17, 1951) was a member of the original Apple Lisa and Macintosh design teams at Apple Computer. Atkinson received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, where Apple Macintosh visionary Jef Raskin was one of his professors.
Bill Atkinson worked at Apple Computer from 1978 to 1990, joining the company as their 51st employee. He served as developer of the Lisa user interface and the QuickDraw graphics library and later was part of the Macintosh development team.
