The Bridge. Synopsis: When a body is found on the Tuas Bridge between Malaysia and Singapore, Malaysian detective Megat Jamil and Singaporean detective Serena Teo must work together to solve the crime.
The Bridge is a TV series that follows the collaboration of Danish and Swedish police to solve murders on the Oresund Bridge. The series features a female detective with Asperger syndrome, a complex plot and a bilingual dialogue.
The series takes place on the border of Malaysia and Singapore. Its centerpiece is the bridge on the border where a female corpse was discovered. The Malaysian Investigator is Detective Megat Jamil, the Singaporean is Detective Serena Teo.
The first season begins with the discovery of a dead body at the centre of the Øresund Bridge, which links the Swedish city of Malmö with the Danish capital Copenhagen, necessitating a joint investigation. Sofia Helin, as the Swedish police detective Saga Norén, stars in all four seasons.
