The ethics of cops, as well as Hong Kong's bloated legal system, get a subversive skewering in Twist, an entertaining, slightly twisted cop thriller. When a clever thief gets away with a huge heist, he greets the investigating cops with buckets of know-it-all smarm and "yes, I did it" charm.
Twist opens with Simon Yam and two pals (played by the very familiar faces of Shing Fui-On and Tommy Wong) pulling off a massive heist. Super cop Danny Lee and his team of hotshot cops (which include Parkman Wong and Story of Ricky 's Fan Siu-Wong) are brought in to solve the case.

Lee (with a bad haircut) and company set their sights on the enigmatic Simon Yam and his main squeeze Suki (Shooky) Kwan. Lee "Sir" knows he did something wrong and very illegal but has no solid case against Simon and Suki.
Sporting a natty perm, he stars as the leader of the Organized Crime Bureau, who’s after an extremely crafty thief played with typical smarm by Simon Yam. Simon makes off with 170 million HK dollars in a well-planned heist, but then he goes crazy and decides to flaunt said fact to the cops.
