Nico Erik Rosberg (born 27 June 1985) is a German and Finnish entrepreneur and former professional racing driver. He competed in Formula One from 2006 to 2016, winning the World Drivers' Championship in 2016 with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport.
The Hamilton–Rosberg rivalry (also known as The Silver War) was a Formula One rivalry between British racing driver Lewis Hamilton and German racing driver Nico Rosberg. He is the 2016 World Champion, and is well-known for beating the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher comprehensively on his comeback in 2010 , and again in 2011 .
