Dec 16, 2022 · Close down Edge completely. Open Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Escape) and use End task to stop any instances of msedge.exe that you find there. Open File Explorer (Winkey+E) and paste this into the address bar: %LocalAppData%\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default. Find the files called Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak.
