Jun 10, 2024 · No reservations are required. You can just buy the tickets at the entrance. The main entrance at the East side was closed. We entered through the Palmengarten Street in the southern side.(intersection with Bockenheimer Landstraße)
The Botanical Garden in the Siesmayerstrasse became part of the Palmengarten in 2012. Founded by Dr. Johann Christian Senckenberg, the garden’s history dates back to 1763, making it our city’s first and oldest scientific garden.
