May 1, 2024 · PUTRAJAYA, May 1 (Bernama) — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today announced that civil servants will enjoy a salary hike of more than 13 per cent starting December this year, the highest increase in the nation’s history. He said the increase would involve an allocation of over RM10 billion.
For civil servants on the lowest salary scale, their total income, including allowances, would increase to a minimum of RM2,000 a month from RM1,795, he said.
