Streets of Laredo is a 1993 Western novel by American writer Larry McMurtry. It is the second book published in the Lonesome Dove series, but the fourth and final book chronologically. It was adapted into a television miniseries in 1995.
14 Jul 2010 · I just watched the Streets of Laredo for the upteenth time and just noticed the scope sighted rifle was a straight pull Swiss. They were calling it a German rifle but it had the barrel keg bolt handle of the Swiss. The barrel appeared to be thinner than a K-31 but it may just be a movie prop.
