Jan 25, 2018 · Network and Coverage. Unifi Mobile has its own 4G LTE network which runs on Band 5 (850MHz). For areas that are not covered, it will roam into Celcom’s 3G/2G network. Since their data quota is split between LTE and LTE/3G, you’ll need to be within Unifi Mobile’s coverage area and have the right device in order to maximise your usage.

Overview. Unifi Mobile operates 4G WiMAX, 4G LTE, and 4G LTE-A networks, and shares spectrum from Celcom with 2G EDGE networks. In March 2007, P1 was one of four companies awarded 2.3GHz spectrum licenses by the Malaysian government to deploy 4G WiMAX services throughout Malaysia.
