Jun 14, 2021 · Aside from the road legal Akrapovič system, the motor on the Abarth is unchanged to the stock bike’s CP3 and that’s no bad thing at all. A really wonderful engine with 115bhp and 64.6 lb-ft of torque it is light, quick-revving, and bags of fun to ride.

In November 2016, Yamaha announced the 2017 XSR900 Abarth, a limited-edition "Sport Heritage café racer special". Yamaha collaborated with Abarth, an Italian brand from the car-racing world.
Yamaha has teamed up with legendary Fiat tuner Abarth to release the limited edition 2017 Yamaha XSR900 Abarth. Based on the standard XSR 900, the XSR900 Abarth evokes the look and feel of 60s cafe racers, and is inspired by Yamaha’s “Faster Sons” range of custom-built motorcycles.
