Mar 21, 2023 · Hi Mohamed_Elgabry, I am Dave, I will help you with this. Rest assured it is safe to delete that folder and anything else you want to delete from the Downloads folder, there is nothing in that Downloads folder that Windows or any software installed on your PC needs.
Jan 20, 2024 · If it was downloaded to an NTFS volume then it should have an ADS attached that may provide the origin. When you right-click the file does it should a checkbox to "unblock" the file. If so, it has an ADS (Additional Data Stream). Do NOT unblock! That will clear the ADS. The following tool should allow you to see the ADS contents, if there is one:
