Detroit (/ dɪˈtrɔɪt /, dih-TROYT; locally also / ˈdiːtrɔɪt /, DEE-troyt) [8] is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the largest U.S. city on the Canadian border and the county seat of Wayne County.
