Jul 12, 2022 · Skowhegan is a historically important town in central Maine. Many interesting buildings and picturesque vistas right on the Kennebec River. In the Summer, there is the Skowhegan State fair, the River Fest, and there is a dynamic renewal going on in recent years for more downtown development. Definitely worth a visit.
