Boise is the capital and largest city of Idaho. Boise offers numerous recreational opportunities, including extensive hiking and biking in the foothills to the immediate north of downtown. Boise is a regional hub for jazz, theater, and indie music, and is home to several museums.
Boise, Idaho’s Capital City, is as unexpected as it is beautiful. It’s a rare blend of urban and outdoors with hundreds of restaurants, hundreds of miles of trails, a mountain-fed river running through the center of town and the nicest people you will ever meet.
Boise was beautiful and we enjoyed taking walks in Julia Davis Park and the rose garden. We also walked through the park to Boise State and enjoyed touring that campus. The weather was fantastic and we would go back.
