May 26, 2020 · Travelers unfamiliar with Chinese airlines can be nervous about flying with China Eastern Airlines and concerned about safety standards in China generally. China Eastern has been involved in a number of crashes in the 90s, although all have involved smaller regional aircraft.
We were very reluctant to fly with China Eastern given the poor reviews however we were pleasantly surprised. No check in queue, both flights left on time with good hosting on the flight. We had entertainment systems, decent leg room and an acceptable amount of recline on the seats.
China Eastern Airlines is Certified as a 3-Star Airline for the quality of its airport and onboard product and staff service. Product rating includes seats, amenities, food & beverages, IFE, cleanliness etc, and service rating is for both cabin staff and ground staff.
May 19, 2024 · After the passengers negotiated with China Eastern Airlines personnel for nearly 2 hours, China Eastern Airlines sent us to a hotel called Greenland around 12 o'clock in the night. After a long check-in and no food, the passengers could only go to bed hungry.
