Yes it is possible and yes there was a plugin for this. However as of June 5th 2022 you can no longer use the plugin. Better discord has blocked it because of privacy. So it is very much possible and worked really well. You just could not open and channels and type in them. As for it being possible again, maybe, but not with better discord.
i installed the plugin, restarted discord, and i cant see hidden channels. (i tried creating test server with my alt account and made hidden channel there. when i joined with my main account and the plugin installed, i dont see the hidden channel)
