Kerr Avon is a fictional character from the British science fiction television series Blake's 7, played by Paul Darrow (who was recreating the role for the Big Finish Liberator Chronicles and Classic Audio Adventures. In the B7 audio series, Avon is played by Colin Salmon).
Kerr Avon was a renegade engineer and one of Roj Blake's followers. Later on, he became the second known captain of the Liberator and the Scorpio. Unlike most of the crew, Avon was motivated largely by personal self-interest.
Darrow appeared as the character Avon, for which he was best known, in all but the first episode of Blake's 7. In the mid-to-late 1990s, he purchased the rights to Blake's 7 and attempted to produce a big-budget follow-up mini-series, Blake's 7: A Rebellion Reborn.

May 12, 2023 · In the last episode of Blake's 7, entitled "Blake", Avon and the crew discover Blake as a bounty hunter. However, in the climax, Tarrant suggests to Avon that Blake has betrayed their rebellion, but Blake explains that it was all a setup.
