The primary difference between annexure and appendix is that appendix refers to the attachment to the document, which supplements it by providing additional reference information. As against, annexure refers to the additional documents or proofs provided with the main document.

If the attachment has information that one or more parties can change without needing to change the whole agreement or affecting the validity of the contract, it should be called an annexure. Schedules, appendices, and annexures are all “attachments.”
