Sunforge blades are rare weapons created by the Sunfire Elves that remain as hot as when they were forged for hundreds of years. Their forms can range from daggers to swords. The sheaths they are kept in are inscribed with runes to protect the wielders from the extreme heat.

Infused with magic, a sunforge blade stays as hot as the moment it was forged for hundreds of years and can cut through other blades like butter.
Sunforge blades > lightsabers. I would say that a Lightsaber would still win out. Unless that magic makes the Sunforged weapon resistant to being cut in half. As for the lightsaber its unaffected by the cutting power of a sunforged blade- you need to hit the pommel to do any thing.

The sun connection is interesting, but when we see the blade cut a steel sword there isn't any indication that the sun's energy recharges the blade. Then again we never see one run out of heat.
