OF THE MAGNA CARTA FOR DISABLED PERSONS (Republic Act No. 7277) RULE I. DEFINITION OF TERMS. Abandoned – an abandoned disabled person is one who has no proper parental care or guardianship, or whose parents or guardians have deserted him for a period of at least six continuous months.
