Upson Pratt is the main character in the 1982 Stephen King horror anthology film Creepshow, in the final segment "They're Creeping Up on You". He was played by the late E.G. Marshall, who also played the President of the United States in the 1981 superhero film Superman II.
Gendron also informs Mr. Pratt that the takeover caused a business rival, Norman Castonmeyer, to commit suicide, much to Pratt's delight. During the call, Pratt slowly begins finding cockroaches around his apartment.

He had a mental disorder for cleanliness which was likely traced back to his childhood. He was successful and was likely done wrong by a lot of people, creating trust issues.
