Blackcomb Peak (Ucwalmícwts: Tsíqten) is a mountain located east of Whistler, British Columbia that forms the boundary between the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort and Garibaldi Provincial Park.
More synonymous with backcountry skiing than hiking, Blackcomb Peak and the Spearhead are a duo of peaks nestled in the heart of the Whistler backcountry on the fringes of Garibaldi Provincial Park. In the winter both of these peaks, and the vast backcountry beyond, are a haven to some of the finest backcountry skiing in the world.
We are home to one of the longest ski seasons in North America, but in the summer, offer a variety of activities including hiking and biking trails, the Whistler Mountain Bike Park and sightseeing on the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola. Explore the mountain further with our trail map.

This outing starts at the Blackcomb gondola near parking lot P1. Full services are available here, including restaurants and facilities. The summer trail goes to the Excalibur Gondola and then steadily makes its way up what is referred to as the “Little Burn,” “Big Burn,” and “Heart Burn” sections.
