Taft School is a prestigious boarding and day school founded in 1890 by Horace Dutton Taft, the brother of U.S. President William Howard Taft. It has a beautiful campus, a strong academic reputation, and a diverse student body of 580 students in grades 9–12.
More than a century has passed since Mr. Taft founded our school. The Coliseum has become a legendary and traditional high school basketball venue. It hosted OHSAA central district and regional playoffs in boys' High School basketball until 2013, when the Central District Athletic Board opted to move games to Ohio Dominican University.
