Aug 5, 2021 · Now, I'm wondering if 10fastfingers is using a fair way to calculate WPM for Chinese. For both English and Chinese, WPM is calculated based on the number of keystrokes (5 keystrokes = 1 WPM). For English, it's easy to count keystrokes.

Dec 3, 2020 · I would suggest using something like typeracer, since it includes commas, dots and other special characters that you would use on a daily basis, and it still gets updates and patches unlike 10fastfingers. Yeah that happens to me as well we are going to have to use another type thing cause 10 fast fingers will not fix it.
I consider over 120 wpm to be considerably fast. I consider 80+ to be fast. After working in an office, you quickly learn most people are awfully slow - and the average is probably around 50-60. I can and regularly type 300+ words per minute, but most of the words aren’t pronounceable or spelled correctly.

New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. The fact that you didn't show the WPM in the video is very disappointing. These type things are exactly why I wanted to learn python.
