Even without DLSS 3, the 4060 (non-ti) benchmarks 20-ish% higher than the 3060. And in DLSS 3, and it's huge. And yeah, the lower amount of VRAM might come into play at some point, but that's probably quite a way into the future. RDR2 eats about 4.5-5 Gb at best on 1080p with max sliders, fyi.

Jul 3, 2023 · So the 3060 will render more complex scenes without crapping out than the 4060, but the 4060 is faster. So the choice partly depends on what you plan to be doing in Blender. If you are looking at high complexity scenes (high poly, lots of objects, high res textures) then it will take you longer to hit that ceiling with the 3060.
