It's a great TV but the logitech harmony really struggles with the source selection, I pretty much have to do it manually. No doubt these TV's are rebranded from something else, any idea what that TV would be? Perhaps the harmony has better support of the original / a different version of it. No upgrade to a higher spec'ed product that they have in stock. Very unsatisfactory. Dicksmith is as reliable as kogan is reliable and is as safe as the last dicksmith that went bust. It can happen again. If you buy a Kogan phone look very carefully at the model number, and then look up the specs for that model number.

Just noticed Dick Smith have a 40" Full HD LCD TV with "USB Media Playback" for only $368.

I have plugged a 16Gb memory stick in containing some movies but there appears to be no option for selecting the USB port. I have a PVR connected via the HDMI port and this works fine.
Am I able to manually retune a Dick smith own brand tv. I have lost the remote. Can search through the options using the controls on the side but no button is the enter key, so can't select anything. Dick Smith house branded sets are made by the same Chinese generic manufacturer that supplies sets carrying the JVC badge, now that genuine JVC has been absorbed into Kenwood. The TVs are not made by JVC. The TVs are probably supplied through Yale Prima, but if so, who knows whether they would or can provide firmware? If the EPG is too clumsy ...
