An OEM License is normally preinstalled on the machine at the factory. ESDs are provided by authorized resellers such as Microsoft itself or Amazon.com. Best,

May 1, 2016 · Windows updates downloads ESD automatically and Installs it without any user Interference.I said you can use that file to do a clean Install of Windows 10.There are no issues if you don't copy that in any other location.I have a slow Internet connection so I save ESD so that I do not have to download Installation file in future.So it is benfificial for users like me.

In reference to what Jmarco0921 , the C:\ESD\Windows\Sources\install.ESD file (I think) can be used for creating a bootable USB so I copied it elsewhere for now. I am migrating my Windows 10 to a new SSD and I think I can use USB memory to boot Windows to swap the drive letters.
