Scarlet Innocence (Korean: 마담 뺑덕; RR: Madam Bbaengdeok) is a 2014 South Korea erotic thriller film co-written and directed by Yim Pil-sung, starring Jung Woo-sung and Esom. [2] It is a modern-day retelling of the classic Korean folktale Simcheongga .
Scarlet Innocence: Directed by Pil-sung Yim. With Jung Woo-sung, Esom, Park Shi-woo, Lee Chang-hoon. Small-town girl Deokee is abandoned by university professor Hak-kyu after a lusty affair and vengefully approaches him 8 years later when he starts suffering from blindness.
She gained recognition for her leading role in the 2014 film Scarlet Innocence, for which she was nominated for Best New Actress in five different award ceremonies. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] She then had notable roles in television series The Third Charm (2018), Taxi Driver (2021), and film Samjin Company English Class (2020).
Filming began March 5, 2014 at an amusement park in Namwon, North Jeolla Province, South Korea. The first scene filmed involves Professor Hak-Kyu (Jung Woo-Sung) from Seoul meeting 20-year-old Deok-Yi (Esom) for the first time at an amusement part in a small city. Deok-Yi works at the amusement park.
