With 2.9 miles of Frio River winding through 1,774 acres of scenic Hill Country terrain, the park offers lots to see and do! Swim in the Frio River or float its waters on an inner tube, operate a paddle boat, and hike 16 miles of scenic trails.
Oct 19, 2021 · Just fishing for fun. I have a lot of experience finding trout on the Guadalupe, but stay away from them during the hotter months. I caught a couple one year and releasing them was pretty sketchy even when I kept them in the water. If anyone has tips for fishing Garner state park around this time of year please chime in. could use tips.
Garner State Park was a great place to take our kids this summer. They had a great time doing lots of activities, swinging into the river, looking for fish, skipping rocks, biking, hiking, fireflies, playing games, climbing trees, putt put, and so much more.
