I LOVE immortal Samsara and think this is the best character Yang Zi has played. And when she & Cheng Yi are together on screen is pure joy. The CGI is also markedly better once they go to the mortal realm.
Immortal Samsara is a xian xia drama with gods which means they're above mortals so them eating fried rice is just funny and immortal chickens having to lay eggs is also hilarious. Here's a video for reference :)

Actor/Actress loyalty is the biggest reason I'll probably finish this drama at some point. Big fan of both actors but I think the production is lacking for me visually and that's a big deal when you have so much content out there. It looks second rate and I hate to say it but it's true.
