Sir James Brooke, Raja Putih Sarawak (29 April 1803 [ 1 ] – 11 Jun 1868) ialah seorang tentera British dan pengembara yang mengasaskan Kerajaan Sarawak di Borneo. Baginda memerintah sebagai Raja Putih. pertama Sarawak dari tahun 1841 sehingga kemangkatannya pada tahun 1868.
He ruled as the first White Rajah of Sarawak from 1841 until his death in 1868. Brooke was born and raised in India during the rule of the British East India Company. After a few years of education in England, he served in the Bengal Army, was wounded, and resigned his commission.
