VISITING THE MUSEUM. Kōkeʻe Museum is open every day of the year from 9 am to 4:30 pm. Admission is free, though there is a Donation Box at the door. A suggested donation of at least $1 per person is suggested. Because Kōkeʻe Museum receives no government funding for operations, we depend on your kind generosity.
Jun 17, 2024 · Kōkeʻe State Park. [KAUAI] UPDATED 3/18/24 – Kōkeʻe State Park: The gate to Puʻu O Kila Lookout will be closed to vehicular traffic due to road repairs beginning 3/19/24. The lookout will still be accessible by pedestrians, parking is available at Kalalau lookout.
The park is just north of Waimea Canyon State Park at 22°7′49″N 159°39′32″W and includes 4,345 acres (17.58 km 2) of mountainous terrain. The main attractions of Kōkeʻe State Park trails are the native vegetation, native forest birds, and the scenic cliffside views.
