Mar 24, 2021 · Pro- Snowdonia is easiest to get round and to decide on the day what to do (=might be where it is not raining- lots of microclimates and rain shadows) Pro-Lake District has best tourist facilities. Con- Lake District has too many non-hill tourists. But basically, ALL are pro. Cons are small- visit ALL for as long as possible.

Mar 29, 2020 · Hadrian's Wall Path and Coquetdale in Northumberland National Park are really nice. It's also one of the darkest places in the country, so some good stargazing to be had. But the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are probably better for visiting little towns and villages within the parks. Northumberland is far more sparse.
