The Wills Act: How Wills Work In Malaysia. The Wills Act in Malaysia is applicable only to non-Muslims as Muslim inheritance is governed under the Syariah law. A Muslim would need to prepare a “Wasiat” (which is the equivalent of a will), and appoint their “Wasi” (the equivalent of an executor).
