Feb 7, 2019 · I was able to remove the Logitech Download Assistant entry. I went into Device Manager & under Human Interface Devices was an entry w/a Logitech label. I uninstalled this device & now the Logitech Download Assistant is gone from the Startup programs list in Task Manager.

Allow me to clarify - driver is coming from the hardware manufacturer. In this case, it depends on Logitech still supports this model and still releases driver for this model to stay align with Windows. I checked their website and I am afraid they no longer support/release driver as of now for Windows 11.

Aug 1, 2015 · Logitech Download Assistant should be categorized as malware. It is a hassle to completely remove it. I can't understand how it slipped through all those years ago and was approved to be included in windows update when it isn't a driver. But it was much easier in windows 7 or 8 when you ran Windows Update. The first time it appeared you hid it, and it stayed hidden, forever.
