The Steam Clock is a tourist attraction in Otaru that blows steam every half hour. It is located right in front of the Otaru Music Box Museum and is one of the most iconic sights in Otaru.

The clock actually came to Otaru by way of Canada when it was offered to the city as a gift from Vancouver and it is unusual as it is still powered by steam.
