Dominican Republic In the middle of October 2021 Pedri signed a new contract with Barcelona which contained a record €1 billion ($1.57 billion) release clause. On 22 November 2021, Pedri won the Golden Boy award presented by Tuttosport for being the best player in European football under the age of 21.
Pedri is a Canarian midfielder who joined Barça from Las Palmas in 2020. He has won several individual and team awards, including the Golden Boy and the Kopa Trophy, and played for Spain in the 2020 Euros and the 2022 World Cup.
