Feb 13, 2010 · wanted to check the battery, but couldn't find anything useful in my tool box to remove the bolts. guess i need to buy a new tool... also in the owners manual, it calls for new bolts and 37ftlb torque to install, while in the service manual, 33ftlb is needed and no new bolts are required.

So i took my induction heater and heated the bolt. I took the hammer screw driver with the largest flat head that would fit and hammered it into the stripped head. Took all of about 30 seconds. Can't use a torch in there cuz of the wire loom and problem of control. I added a pic for the tools. Worked like a charm. Thought I'd post the idea here ...
