Apr 26, 2024 · Addie and Margaret Doull from Islesburgh Farm in Northmavine are the 2024 patrons of Shetland Wool Week, honoured for their work with the Shetland Flock Book. Their daughter Anne created the Islesburgh Toorie hat pattern, inspired by their farm and their lace knitting skills.

This Saturday marks the return of Shetland Wool Week ‘in person’ with a packed nine-day programme of classes, tours, talks and events throughout the isles. The popular festival, which is organised by Shetland Amenity Trust, is now in its thirteenth year and will take place from 24 September – 2 October 2022.
