Nov 6, 2022 · Generally speaking, there are one ways to get rid of a split screen in Windows 10/and Windows 11. Navigate to Start>> Settings>> System. In the left navigation pane, click on Multitasking. In the right pane, under Snap Windows, change the value to Off. Turn off these values to turn off the Split screen function.

When I work with split screens, especially with Office Apps, I experienced a screen that suddenly glitches even to a black screen. I also include a video and screenshots when my screen is glitching. I tried to drag from both sides and its not working... The first line is about 2/3rds of the way to the right and the second line is from the favorites tab to the end of the screen.

Aug 7, 2015 · Windows 10 comes with a Snap assist feature which is similar to the Split option that you used in Windows 8.1. When you drag a window to the left or right, just move it towards a corner, and you'll see an animated transparent outline of the window fill out the quadrant. As soon as you release the mouse button, the window will snap to that position.
