May 12, 2023 · A family member was blocked from joining a family plan (she was in the plan for many years) because this person did not verify the address within the 7 days period. Even though, the administrator invited again the family member to join the plan many times, and after confirming the administrator address, Spotify blocked this person for 12 months.

This prevents premium users from being able to access premium features. The audiobook hours should be usable by both members of the plan.

We even removed the account and re-added them to the family plan, but it is still not updated. Kindly guide on how to proceed.

May 21, 2016 · Hey @Ekryan17, Yes, each family member has to have a separate username and password. The account that pays then links the other family members to the plan through the Spotify website. After that, each family member will be able to listen to music at the same time, have different playlists, library and friends.

In this case, it's best to add her to your Premium for Family plan when she is at the same address as you (since everyone on the plan needs to reside at the same physical address) Once she gets added to your plan - she'll be good to go!
