Aug 14, 2018 · A group of 3 prominent businessmen in the day, together with the support of the then British Resident of Selangor as well as Sultan Abdul Samad, came up with the idea of forming an English school in Kuala Lumpur. It was their "foresight and devotion" that led to the founding of the Victoria Institution.

Oct 9, 2024 · Justeru, ia menjadi sekolah menengah pertama di Tanah Melayu. Victoria Institution terletak di No. 71, Jalan Hang Tuah (dahulunya Jalan Shaw), Kuala Lumpur tersohor dengan pasukan kadet yang ditubuhkan pada tahun 1901 oleh guru besarnya yang pertama En. Bennet Eyre Shaw.
