Apr 22, 2017 · According to Microsoft there's no more Visual Studio 2010 for download from their (official) site. Personally I really recommend you go straight to 2017 Community Edition - it has everything the 2010 Professional has and more.
Right Click the Project in Solution Explorer and click Manage NuGet Packages. Search for MySql.Data package, when you find it click on Install. Here is the sample controller which connects to MySql database using the mysql package. We mainly make use of MySqlConnection connection object.

Now that I'm looking at it more carefully, it looks like the installer isn't finding Visual Studio 2010 installed on your machine, even though it's finding the other more modern versions. I almost hate to ask, because it seems obvious, but: do you have Visual Studio 2010 installed? –
Apr 5, 2016 · In Visual Studio 2010 Express, there is an option called "Show all Settings". Located at "Tools > Options", window. If this option is not checked, the line number option will not be available. Make sure this option is checked like shown below. This will make lot of additional settings visible in the tree view to the left.

Jun 6, 2011 · The keyboard shortcut is CTRL + R, CTRL + W. The command is called Edit.ViewWhiteSpace. It works in all Visual Studio versions at least since Visual Studio 2010, the current one being Visual Studio 2019 (at time of writing). In Visual Studio 2013, you can also use CTRL + E, S or CTRL + E, CTRL + S.
Apr 19, 2016 · 0. It appears that there are issues when moving from VS 2010.Net to VS 2015.Net and may require that you build the project from scratch and copy the code over. VS 2015 requires a Namespace. There are a number of designer issues on control that require the style page be used since various attributes have been removed.
May 25, 2016 · Visual Studio 2010 does not provide tools for upgrading applications and projects from Visual Basic 6.0. If you want to upgrade your project from Visual Basic 6.0 to Visual Basic 2010, you can use the upgrade tools provided with earlier versions of Visual Studio and then upgrade the project again in Visual Studio 2010.
