Dec 25, 2023 · For the majority of orders on Amazon.co.uk, that are fulfilled from an EU country, you as a customer will not pay import duties. VAT is always included in product price for B2C orders. For orders with value <£150, Amazon will remit the VAT from the orders on behalf of customer (importer of record) and pay to tax authorities on customer behalf.

Dec 8, 2020 · Right now, we pay Irish VAT on purchases from Amazon, and not UK VAT. Right now, we pay 23% total VAT on Amazon.co.uk purchases. UK VAT is 20% - so Amazon ups the price by about 3%. When the UK transition period ends, imports from UK will be treated as non-EU imports. So unless UK exports are VAT exempt, we'd need to pay 23% on top of UK VAT ...
