Gombak merupakan sebuah daerah di negeri Selangor. Daerah ini terletak di bahagian timur negeri Selangor dan berkeluasan 650 kilometer persegi. Daerah ini juga menjadi daerah kelima paling ramai penduduk dan antara yang terpadat di Malaysia dengan jumlah penduduk seramai 942,400 orang.
Gombak borders Kuala Lumpur to the southeast and the Genting Highlands to the east. Both Gombak and Kuala Lumpur, along with some other districts in Selangor, are situated within the Klang Valley. Other localities in Gombak district include Batu Arang, Kuang, Rawang, Kundang, Gombak Town, Selayang, Batu Caves and Hulu Kelang.
Covering 65,008 hectares, Gombak is the third smallest district in Selangor with hilly terrains in the east, north and west, while the central region is mainly lowlands. The main rivers flowing through are Sungai Gombak, Sungai Klang, and Sungai Batu.

The town is situated alongside Jalan Gombak, in the northeastern fringes of Kuala Lumpur, just across the border from Wangsa Maju. Other adjacent towns include Ulu Klang, Ampang and Batu Caves . Gombak town is located in Selangor but a small fraction of the town spills into the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur .
